  • Conducted Production Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (pFMEAs) and resolved non-compliance issues by updating over 400 legacy part specifications to new revision standards.
  • Collaborated on lifting analysis and tooling development for heavy MRI part installations, coordinating across sites to keep part procurement on schedule.
  • Proposed and evaluated an AR technology integration for the production line, identifying a potential $70,000 in annual savings and 90 percent efficiency gains in onboarding and training.
  • Developed AR workflows and outlined implementation paths for adoption across Manufacturing, R&D, and Quality.

3D Aorta MRI Labeling

MATLAB Medical Imaging App

  • Labeled the Sagittal, Coronal, and Transverse views of the aorta to identify each section.
  • Highlighted ascending cross sections to build a 3D volume for better visibility.
  • Compared three 3D volume scans to identify abnormalities against a healthy reference.

Embedded Environmental Datalogger

  • Built a datalogger sampling temperature, light, and potentiometer sensors with customizable sample rates and logging durations.
  • Programmed start and stop via button inputs, with real-time sensor values on request and structured output after logging.
  • Used functions and arrays to manage varying sample rates and durations for efficient storage and processing.
  • Added a user-defined sampling period per sensor and a moving-average filter for data smoothing.

Emergency Response Safety System

Arduino and Raspberry Pi, team of 2

  • Researched existing patents and solutions for emergency vehicle alerts on Google Patents to analyze effectiveness and failure modes.
  • Designed and prototyped a traffic sign system that directs drivers out of the path of approaching emergency vehicles.
  • Tested with real-time feedback from experts and potential users, refining the design to be DOT compliant.
  • Documented the work in a 66-page report covering problem analysis, design decisions, testing results, and expert evaluations.
